I have become more aware, these recent months, how very blessed I have been with the teachers, who have showed up in my life. Yes, I have had my share of un-integrous ones, but even those were only doing what they thought was best, and brought with them some great wisdom and experiences. So when I began to look into the essence of what has been showing up in my work, as well as my personal life, I found myself going back to some of the core teachings and teachers from my past.
I first met Ethel Lombardi in 1990. One of the original four Reiki Masters, she had broken off from the Alliance she helped found, when disagreements broke out as to who’s version was better and the cost of passing the information on topped out at $10,000. She teamed up with another and tapped into the Angelic Realm to bring through some very profound understandings and techniques, which she shared for the whopping sum of $285 for a five day workshop. While what she was clearing was represented as cellular memory, somewhat of a misnomer to my present understanding, it was very effective in getting to the core of illness and disharmony in one’s life. I was still an agnostic at the time and greeted her announcement that we would all have MariEL Angels working with us as long as we accessed the energy with an “oh sure”. My experience of seeing a Cherub flying alongside me later that day was unsettling to say the least. I came away from that experience knowing that I was to help others move past their pain.
Ethel had a practical way of clearing emotional content from the body and provided tools to clear connections to particular beliefs and patterns going back multiple generations, as well as lifetimes, and even between lifetimes. While connected to a fairly high aspect of the angelic realms, her work was still based upon the use of symbols to create the connections and she never passed on the mantle of teaching her work to others. What she brought forth was so encompassing that people have spun off many other modalities based upon one single aspect of it. It was my experiences with MariEL that led me to my path of assisting in helping others. The first few years that I practiced MariEL, every one of my clients came with abuse issues {mostly sexual}, and many had the experience of seeing either Christ or Mother Mary attending their healing, even while I was still holding onto the, by now, threads of my agnosticism.
During my stay in Woodstock, NY a bunch of us decided to start a study group of the teachings of a Byzantine Esoteric Christian Mystic, known as Daskalos. Dr. Stlylianos Atteshlis lived in Cyprus and had a quiet student following of thousands spread around the world. People came for healings from everywhere and he never charged a cent for that which he was only the instrument. His understanding of the nature of spiritual reality and human psychology was incredibly insightful and is foundational to my present day research into the underlying source of illness and limitations. He presented the concept of Thought Forms, which he called “Elementals” as the basis of the personality and nature of that, to which we have given life through our desires and thoughts.
Most recently, Dr. David R. Hawkins has come into the limelight as my present day teacher. A man of towering intellect and the pinnacle of spiritual advancement, Dr. Hawkins has produced a huge array of material as to the nature of spiritual reality and the path of enlightenment. Couched in modern spiritual and scientific language it represents an unprecedented opportunity to clearly comprehend the interconnectedness of all of reality. His 50 year career in psychiatry coupled with the insights of a fully enlightened master has provided me with a profound depth of understanding into the very workings of life itself.
At any rate, the clearing work I have been involved with is all about invoking spiritual or divine will in order to create change. Spiritual will is much more powerful that my personal will, and helps to keep my ego out of the way. The trick is in understanding what it is that needs changing. In doing this I utilize information which has come my way from many other disciplines, passed along from many different directions, sometimes carried by a single word.
As I have mentioned before, when I tune in, I have the ability to see the consciousness of living things, both protoplasmic as well as energetic. This gift, like many, is a mixed blessing. While it allows me to see into the core of what is creating energy blocks, it is limited by how much a person wishes to reveal on an unconscious level. It makes for extra work, when I have to clear all sorts of things, after being amongst groups of people. What I find, when looking into people’s bodies and fields, is a whole array of conscious living things. Not protoplasmic, but living nonetheless. Some of it is of the most base nature and others of a rather complex and not uncommonly, less than pleasant disposition.
The question than arises as to what is this all about. Is it an alien invasion or something borne within? Is there a unifying understanding to all of this which can be expressed in simple terms, without getting into complex terminology and a huge intellectual maze? That has been the dilemma for a while now, and in getting to the bottom of the issue, I find myself pulling what is seemingly, obscure tidbits of information, from my experiences, my memories and research and watching it assemble itself into a whole.
I should stop right here and explain that my explorations are from the perspective of and intuitive energy worker. I am not interested in a long elaborate unraveling of some constructed map of the psyche or in assigning meaning to every thought and emotion and making my neurosis valid. I am interested in alleviating suffering and eliminating limitations on the physical, mental and spiritual levels, as quickly and easily as possible.
I have tried reading Jung and found that while he had a seemingly brilliant intellectual understanding of the human psyche, he was so involved in making the details of its inner workings meaningful, that he apparently missed, what I perceive as, the unifying whole. Dr. Hawkins, while providing incredible insights into consciousness, is focused on the path to enlightenment and not concerned with teaching healing techniques, per se. So while there is tremendous information in the volumes of his work there is no one lecture or even paragraph which correlates with my experiences and puts it all into a working perspective. There are however clues pointing to what it’s all about and now the work is to pull together the pieces of the puzzle and assemble a working understanding, which I can succinctly transmit to others, and calibrates at a level of truth which is comprehensible and universal.
Hopefully, the next piece will soon convey that information. It’s there in my consciousness, swirling around, awaiting yet one more burst of illumination to make it all flow. In the meantime, my friends are bombarded with my verbal attempts to transmit, that which is bursting forth.
