Healing Through the Quantum Field

We can divide our understanding of reality into two basic realms. There is the world of Newtonian Science, which relates to cause and effect, and the measurable and quantitative laws of linearity. Then there is the world of Quantum Mechanics which is non-linear and has no such reality as cause and effect. Under the principles of Planck’s Constant, the laws of Quantum Mechanics only come into play on the subatomic level. According to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, these subatomic particles, (i.e. photons, electrons, etc.) exist as waves amongst a rather broad, profuse swarm of potentialities. The intention of observing this can collapse the wave function into a particle of a particular potentiality; from un-manifest to manifest in one act of consciousness.

When one atom of anti-matter meets up with an atom of matter, they cancel each other out; the result is the release of two photons which move to opposite ends of the universe. The act of observing one will cause it to spin; at the same instant the other, even though it is on the opposite end of the universe, will rotate in the opposite direction.

This is an example of consciousness affecting matter. It is how prayer works. What one holds in mind can collapse a wave function, potentizing a particular potentiality, and as long as local conditions allow, manifest that potentiality. The theory of oneness is endemic to all the major religious and spiritual teachings for millennium. With oneness everything is connected; there is no separation. Such a reality is beyond the realm of provable, cause and effect, linear Newtonian science.

So, on the physical, linear Newtonian level, our bodies are protoplasmic, electro-chemical processing factories. Thoughts are experienced; information transmitted, and processes initiated, by a complex system of energetic and chemical, stimulation and production. There is an incredible array of research being conducted in the realms of physiology, health and healing. Popular research concerns the very nature of messaging within the body itself, and the role that certain molecules have on the subconscious and addictions. This is also being used somewhat as a means to explore genetic tendencies.

On the spiritual/energetic level however, we have another scenario. We have what are called subtle or energy bodies, which make up our aura. The etheric body, also called the etheric double, fits us like a glove, overlapping our physical body by several inches. Classically, it is considered to be the energetic template for our physical body. Illnesses show up in the etheric body before they manifest in the physical, and healing work that is done on the etheric body will affect the physical as well. Outside the etheric body, lies the emotional body which can influence the etheric. Overlapping that is the mental body which, in turn, “informs” the others. Beyond the mental body lie the spiritual bodies; the Causal, Atmic & Buddhic bodies, etc. As one goes further out, the bodies become more esoteric, more difficult to access and influence, and at the same time, more powerful. These subtle bodies have many descriptions and names depending upon the school of thought, although there is a loose general consensus. Various schools have tied them to the chakras as well as the tree of life.

The energy of the subtle bodies is also composed of these subatomic particles, which are moving along their own wave of potential possibilities. Again, according to the Heisenberg Principal of Uncertainty, they can show up anywhere along this wave, and our intention can potentize a particular potentiality, as long as local conditions allow. Local conditions can include particular circumstances, including one’s karma. This is not causation, for the potentiality is inherently there, out of what the particle is; our intention simply assists in manifesting its “particle-ness” in that potentiality. So, our thoughts potentize a particular possibility in the mental body, which in turn potentizes another in the etheric body, which in turn……. Get the picture?

How real is all this? Multiple personalities have long been known to have different physical attributes to go with different personalities. One may be an advanced insulin dependent diabetic, while the other may not believe in sugar issues and have no sugar issues whatsoever. In another case, one personality might be thin with very little appetite while the other eats voraciously, gaining weight almost instantaneously. The record books are also filled with cases of spontaneous healings of supposedly incurable terminal illnesses; which the medical profession ignores, since it cannot and does not understand it, duplicate it, or make money from it.

Ideally, in a fully matured human, the information flow runs from the top down, although for most of us the lower centers and bodies tend to overpower everything. Our society and its control by the media is designed to turn us into emoting broadcasters, expressing our feelings to the world. While it is true that stuffing one’s feelings is very deleterious to one’s health, indulging in emotionalism is an infantile pattern; one which is all too prevalent in our society.

We also have what are known as attractor patterns. These powerful fields draw whatever is programmed to us. If we have an unconscious belief that we are guilty of something and deserve to be punished, we will draw that to us. It may be in the form of repetitive accidents, sexual assaults, robberies, etc. The spiritual dictum of “what we hold in mind tends to manifest” is certainly more than a fairy tale.

Double blind studies done on the positive effects of prayer on heart patients and others prove that thoughts, especially those which are directed through spiritual channels, can affect the physical body. Unfortunately, for most of us, our thoughts are much less than loving and we pour this negative, self-depreciative deluge into ourselves on an almost non-stop basis.

Even a recent, well funded study which showed no effect of prayer on healing, underscores the adage; “what one holds in mind tends to manifest.”  Science writer Lynn McTaggart, in her book “The Field”, reports on researchers who always get opposite results from those whose work they try to duplicate, as a review. The expectation of the researcher has a profound impact on the research. Certainly the way that a study is designed will likewise affect the results.

In what is known as the Zeno Effect, the more often a particular choice is made, the more likely it will be made in the future. Whatever choices one repetitively makes, magnifies its potential for future repetition. Since for most of us, our conscious thoughts are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, changing our minds can present a seemingly insurmountable task. That is the reason for all the clearing oriented, self-help groups.

So we can see that so much of what has been presented to us as reality, is more of a build-up of thought forms that have been given life over the years. What would it be like to change our model, to defuse these thought forms? With the opening/activation of the brain’s frontal lobes, one can simply choose a new thought and direct it anywhere one wishes, creating a new environment and allow the energy of the old patterns to release. While deep emotions may arise, the dampening of the brain stem and parietal lobes that accompanies frontal lobe activation, allows them to be viewed from a more detached or objective perspective.

It is possible to open the frontal lobe through conscious intention, and while simply being in this expanded state allows for much change, a new modality is evolving with the creation of a state of communion, with the consciousness of the heart. The heart, which is composed of approximately 60% glial cells (neurological tissue), has its own consciousness, and is a major component of the state known as enlightenment.

The Native Americans call the heart our first teacher as it is the seat of the deep communion established with our mothers during nursing. When these two intelligences merge, what results is an unparalleled state of nurturance and bliss. This state of consciousness is the door to the Quantum field and the experience of Divinity within. By intending the release of stuck energies, one can release their deepest traumas with ease. When space is held by someone acting as a partner or facilitator, the experience can be profoundly life-changing.

The sessions that I facilitate with those ready to receive the deepest levels of love, consciousness and the healing that accompanies it, leave all in a state of bliss. Opening the frontal lobe, the heart consciousness and integrating these with the consciousness of the subtle bodies is a profound experience. Communication with others in this state of consciousness is true communion. It is the essence of unconditional love; the state which Christianity calls salvation and the Buddhists, Lotus Land.
